My Winshield Defrost Quit Working. Heater, AC, and vents all working except the windshield defrost.

I'd have to check actuator movement for defrost. The actuator is electric according to my database. The actuator should be under dash at end of hvac housing.

Under the dash board buried deep inside the plastic housing of the heater/airconditioner venting controls consult a repair manual or youtube video for specifics.

Remove heater core on corsica

Heater core on a corsica is tricky. It's under the dash in the middle. First disconnect hoses under the hood. Then remove plastic panel 8mm bolts under dash. Remove bolts holding the clips that hold the heater core in place. To remove the heater core you must peel back the carpet or you will not be able to get it out and a new one in. Once it's out, put new one in the opposite way. The carpet has to be peeled back and heater core manouvered to get it in and out. Good luck

How do i change a leaking evaporator core.

the entire dash, door to door top to bottem has to be removed to be able to take out hvac housing so you can take apart to get at the core [recomend do heater core at same time] the dash comes out as an entire unit guages and all. bolts on ends under plastic covers,on top near winshield under vent trim.,bolts on floor in center below radio and a/c controlls, steering column has to come out. multiple wire connectors etc. its an all day job for a pro so its going to take awhile but its pretty straight forward

Heat don't workin 1998 for contour

Sounds as if your heat vent door is hanging up or blocked. When the car is completely warmed up and the heater is on, feel around under the dash near the heater system to see if you can feel any warm or hot air coming out.
