Look in the manual ted, they have a whole list of fuses, their sizes and locations. its a 2008, the manual should be in the glovebox still. failing that, an image search for '2008 impala fusebox' should get you the same thing.

2008 impala says engine hot ac off I recharged the ac correctly and it still says engine hot blah blah blah but ac only works every once in awhile

Why are you messing with the AC? It's telling you the engine is overheating and that's why it shut the AC down.

Someone will need to check the fuse for the blower, then the blower motor and the resistor.

My 2003 impala only blows heat.

It could be out of freon . It could be you have a blown fuse or bad relay. look in owners manual under (fuses) AC/heater If blown use same amp fuse

Heater fan won't work in 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. Dont know which fuse is for the heater.

GM has a fuse panel on the left side under the dash. The fuses are labled HTR/AC. There is also a set of overload relays under the hood on the driver's side. They are also labled. The owner's manual has a diagram showing both the location and type of fuse to use. Cleaning the sockets with electrical cleaner when you replace the fuses helps them to make better contact.
