1998 honda accord removal

Hi, i swaped my honda accord 1998 2.3vtec with a f20b JDM. the jdm ecu dont have the immobilization chip in it. my question now is what i need to do or remove to get my car starting. thx

You may have to change the ecu , to match the vtec, because i dont think you can reprogram those ecu units.

    i already got the f20b ecu but this ecu dont have the immobilization chip in it so no signal to the main rellay = no fuel pump and no sparks. so i found an immo emulator that can be fix in ecu to bypass that and get it run. ill try that as soon as i got the chip. maybe theres an *more easy* way to do it. still looking for it too

Hi, you cannot diasble the immobilizer by removing a chip. What you have to do is trick the ecu into believing you are using the correct key. There are bypass systems on the market for this purpose. Just make sure you get the right one for your car.

u sure its electrical--may be fuel system--many times the computer dozint recognize a new engine--may need to get it flashed or reprogrammd--dont replace anymore parts save ur $$

No spark


Yes. No crank sensor signal usually means no spark. The ecu has to receive crank position to set spark timing. I think you've really hit a big problem. You may need to get in touch with some people who have done this mod. I've always heard it's best and easiest to swap the engine with its ecu and the wiring harness into another car. Or something more compatible with that jdm engine.
