Hello,

check any exposed wire behind CCC, If all wires checked ok, you need to replace CCC. After you replaced CCC needs to be programmed. It cost you a lot of money. I hope this will help.
Good luck!

Is it me or does the radio panel get very hot in a ford custom van. I have a brand new ford custom and everytime I tought the radio it is scortching hot. Why is a ford custom van 2015 so hot to touch

it is all under warranty so take it back to a ford service center and have it replaced
nothing on a radio should be hot and heat indicates a shorting wire or component failure
If it that hot if is a source of fire and should be investigated or replaced

Dash gauges stopped working except oil and battery gauges

Year make and model. Newer vehicles have a couple hot wires and a couple grounds. But for the most part the IP(instrument panel) is run threw data wires. These data wires run to a logic chip in the IP. These chips can just one or two things, or all. Older cars are simpler. Most problems happen at the plug. Unplugging it plugging it back in, could fix the problem.

" Is there a combination of instrument panel

Press F1 and F6 on the radio at the same time and hold down. When you release, all the lights will come on, then a prompt to "clear code" - push the select button (round knob to the right of the radio). This will clear the code. If the engine light does not turn off, unhook battery cables, clean them, then re attach. This has happened to my CTS a few times.

It does have a/c with electronic climate control digital system. whats happenning is the blower will not turn off even when the off button is pushed and even with the vehicle off. so of course the battery...

Your car does have a blower module mounted onto the blower motor housing. If the wires that plug in are melted unplug it. When the get hot and melt it can make the motor run constantly when the car is shut off

Replaced battery in2006 hundayi accent, reversed terminal connection for a few seconds. no radio, instrument panel lights are all on. battery discharging car dies after jumpstart within quarter mile

It is possible that when you reversed the terminals you fried you alternator or melted a wire leading. check all fuses and take the car to a dealer to get the charging/cranking system checked. some parts stores will check them for you for free.

A digram for the factory wireing for the radio

This color code works for 87-93 mustang factory radio; it might work on yours as well. I'm not sure if it has the same fuses though.

Radio Connector:

Light Green / Yellow - Hot at all times (Fuse 8)
Yellow / Black - Hot in ACC or Run (Fuse 11)
Light Brown / Red - Goes to instrument panel dimming rheostat (Fuse 4)
Red - Ground
White / Purple - Hot in ACC or Run (Fuse 11)

Speaker Connector:

White / Light Green - (+) Right Instrument Panel & Door Speaker
Dark Green / Orange - (-) Right Instrument Panel & Door Speaker
Brown / Pink - (+) Right Rear Speaker
Pink / Light Brown - (-) Right Rear Speaker
Pink / Light Green - (+) Left Rear Speaker
Tan / Yellow - (-) Left Rear Speaker
Light Brown / White - (+) Left Instrument Panel & Door Speaker
Orange / Light Green - (-) Left Instrument Panel & Door Speaker
Hope this helps.

Radio wiring

The factory wiring connector hook-up for the Mustang is:

Radio / Power Connector:

Light Green / Yellow - Hot at all times (Fuse 8)
Yellow / Black - Hot in ACC or Run (Fuse 11)
Light Brown / Red - Goes to instrument panel dimming rheostat (Fuse 4)
Red - Ground
White / Purple - Hot in ACC or Run (Fuse 11)

Speaker Connector:

White / Light Green - (+) Right Instrument Panel & Door Speaker
Dark Green / Orange - (-) Right Instrument Panel & Door Speaker
Brown / Pink - (+) Right Rear Speaker
Pink / Light Brown - (-) Right Rear Speaker
Pink / Light Green - (+) Left Rear Speaker
Tan / Yellow - (-) Left Rear Speaker
Light Brown / White - (+) Left Instrument Panel & Door Speaker
Orange / Light Green - (-) Left Instrument Panel & Door Speaker

Your best bet is to buy a radio install kit and adapt it to the Mustang connector. Hope this information helps.
