Question about Cars & Trucks
Possibly the plugs either aren't connected properly or incorrectly plugged. Recheck the plugs. Also check fuses, maybe one blew while it was being plugged. The work should have been done with the battery disconnected for that reason.

Testimonial: "I don't think it's the plug or fuses. Plug is in there secure, pins and connections look to vs in good condition. It's also only one plug that controls everything but the fan control works. Checked all fuses even replaced the most likely ones just in case I couldn't see the fact that they were blown. Thanks"

SOURCE: AC light
Yes, this appears to be a 'feature' and not a problem. They might have been drinking when programming the a/c and recirc features of the Rogue's ventilation system as everyone seems to be confused about how it defaults to certain settings at various times.

SOURCE: Truck heater is stuck ON
There is a blend door motor on top of the housing. If you open the glove box, and look to the top of the housing near the left rear of the glove box, you should see the blend door motor. You can check it at this point. Also check the housing, as I have seen a number of these with a damaged or broken housing.

SOURCE: cant turn the heating down
need to find out where the heater control valve is located (it normally is near the engine inside the hoses) and see if that is sticking and if you cannot free it up replace it

The hot/cold switch is probably bad.you have a blend door box that opens to let the cold air in and closes to let the hot air in.From what you are saying this part is no responding to the switch movement.Make sure power is at the switch and power should go through the switch when put on cold air this moves the blend door. Some times the blend door goes bad and has to be replaced its under the dash on the right side.
