REPLACE AIR SUSPENSION PUMP IN 1995 LINCOLN TOWN CAR


Open the hood, standing in front of the car, the compressor is located all the way on the right hand side(drivers) and all the way to the back(windshield) of the engine bay. it is all the way on top of everything by the wheel well very easy to get to.

Windshield washer


check the fuse for the washer pump,check the connection to the washer pump and make sure that the wires are connected and make sure that there is power going to the pump, make sure that the hose is connected and make sure that the hose do not have any cracks or holes in it. if you check all of these and everything is working properly change the windshield washer pump.

should just push in to the bottom of the washer tank, if this one is located inside the front fender, you'll need to remove the plastic inner fender-well to access

Wiper motor replacement


SECTION 501-16: Wipers and Washers 1999 Town Car Workshop Manual REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Mounting Arm and Pivot Shaft Removal
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301).
  1. Remove the windshield wiper pivot arms (17527).
    1. Remove the nuts (one each side).
    1. Remove the windshield wiper pivot arms.
  1. Remove the LH and RH cowl top vent panels.
    1. Remove the hood weatherstrip.
    1. Remove the screws.
    1. Remove the retaining clips.
      • Disconnect the LH and RH washer hoses.
  1. Position the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft (17566) assembly aside.
    1. Remove the nuts.
    1. Remove the bolt.
    1. Position the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly aside.
  1. Remove the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    1. Remove the windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft assembly.
