Possible low charge, you can get a can of 133A w/Gauge, it's fairly simple but follow the directions and all caution notes, it can get dangerous if not!

I have a 2007 VW Jetta 2.5 Sedan, I do not have owners manual. What does it mean when a snowflake appears on the instrument panel and 37degrees but the outside temp. is not necessarily 37 degrees?

It means that tha car registrated temperature witch is near water freezing and it's warning you that it could be some ice on the road. It's just one of the VW safety wornings to be more careful when driving in that conditions.

AC not working in 2007 Passat. Was told the compressor is good ad plenty of refrigerant but blows only hot air. One day it was good the next day it was not. Shawn Phipps

I had the same problem with my 2007 passat. The external ait temperature sensor measures the outside air temp and displays this on your dashboard computer. If this sensor is not working properly it can cause your ac to blow hot air. If there is a little snowflake symbol by the air temp on your display that is an indication that this sensor may be bad. Get this sensor replaced and it should fix your problem.

Air conditioning light blinks, turns off

either the belt is loose or there is a compressor issue (either the clutch or the compressor is most likely shot)

I used these guys for my last one to have it shipped to me. If you haven't done this before it is not an easy DIY job (you need a vaccum pump, and gauges to do it correctly

Why is the ''snowflake light'' showing up red in my car?

I have a '99 Mercury Cougar & I've been read somewhere that the snowflakes have to do with the outside temp. & traction. I think it's warning you that it may be slippery or icy. I've noticed that when it's +3 to about -2 or -3, the yellow snowflake shows up. Any anything colder than -3 shows the red snowflake. The other lights: the wrench comes up in yellow. That one has always turned on after a certain amount of km's & it's advising you that your car needs a check-up (that's when I know I should look into getting an oil change). You can turn this light off by holding down the two buttons above & below the 'clock' button. Hold them down together for at least 5 seconds & that wrench light should go off. Otherwise, there is a light for checking your breaks (upside down exclamation mark), low windshield fluid. I can't think of any other ones but I hope this helps.
