SOURCE: the belt from motor to

if there is no tentioner pulley on it, then the adjustment has to be on the ac compressor, you should be able to loosen it up, pull it till your belt is tight, and tighten it back down.. unless the alternator is on the same belt, if so that is where the adjustment is.

SOURCE: HI! I have a 2005

Could be one of three things:

If the check engine light is coming on intermittently, it could be your gas. You should be using 91+ Octane Gasoline (put some octane boost to see if it smoothes out, it's about $4.00). You should be putting in Chevron/Shell/76 gasoline, not the ARCO/AM-PM gasoline. The top tier gas has additional cleaners.

Could be a bad coil not triggering one of the spark plugs.

Could be the camshaft position sensors.

SOURCE: 2005 bmw 545i check engine

You need to have an OBII scan (fault scan) done by a dealer or a specialty shop. It'll pull up faults and point you at what needs to be addressed. Sometimes it's a loose connector or moisture intrusion. Other times it's a simple part replacement or "timed maintenance" IE: O2 sensors etc.. It's your onboard computer pre warning you of future possible problems.

How do I turn off the airbag light in my '05 645 BMW?

Hi this problem requires diagnostic equipment to check what faults are present in the restraints system. Only if faults appear intermittent can be erased and system will correct ,air bag light will go off. (present faults will not allow system to repair it self ).

The light is on for the brake fluid but I have no clue where is the reservoir and what kind of brake fluid I need to use its a 645 CI BMW 2005 if some one know I would really appreciate that thanx !!

DOT Brake fluid is fine. Just go to any parts store and ask for it. The brake fluid reservoir will be under the hood, drivers side against the fire wall. Small clear container with black cap

BMW X5- 2005 overheats; the washers for the wipers not working

If you are adding coolant and are not seeing a leak, your leak may be internal to the engine (not good). ie. Blown head gasket or cracked head. Check your oil for signs of water, ie milky looking oil on dipstick or rising oil level even though you didn't add oil. Also do a pressure check of coolant system. If it dosn't hold pressure you have a leak someware. Get it fixed ASAP or else say good by to your engine. Also have your water pump and cooling fans ckecked as well. Don't run the AC until its fixed, it just makes the cooling system work harder. As far as the washers, the front and rear use the same container, have the pump checked as well as fuse for the pump and wipers.
