There is no way they would leave you stuck with the engine!! However, the odds are that it should fit. First check the flywheel or flex plate. [Not sure if its a auto or manual.] If they bolt on, your are into installing the engine! Good Luck with it! Frankster016

SOURCE: i am timing a 1993 GEO Storm.

At one time, one used to be able to get a handy spade connector that plugged right into the ALDL connector under the dash. I haven't seen one of those things in a long time.
Anyway, I now jumper with a home made wire. It is usually the two connectors at the bottom right corner of the ALDL connector as you are sitting in the seat.
You will know you got it if you can start the trouble code sequence as described in the manual.

SOURCE: is there a synthetic freon for a 1993 geo prism?

freon which is known as R-12 in the industry was replaced with R-134A which is the refrigerant used in your car.. There is a user available replacement which comes in a one pound can that can be installed, however you must have the system evacuated by a garage in order to install it..

Does a distributor from a 1993 geo storm gsi 1.8 fit a 1993 geo storm base?

most probably not, the GSi has a different head. Base has a 12 valve, GSi has a 16V. Check for part numbers. Do you need just the cap or the entire distributor?

How to program ECM in 93 geo storm

very good question.
you cant. (not easy)
what that means is , on geos.
is you buy a used, or rebuilt ECU with the same part number as your car, and it will be programmed right.
the equipment of the dealer to do this is now all gone and relics.
The Tech1 scanner and FLASHers are rare as hens teeth today.
and even more air, the binary files to do the flash.
(find a match)
the ecu, must match ,year, transmission, calif. or fed. and engine options.
there may be some storm pros that know how to Rom swap it (A > B)
the ROM, but is very complex topic. based on the type and year of base ECU you are running.
see all the bad news here.

How much freon do i put in

should A/C professional address this issue, it's not for your do it yourself project or repair. if u are having to add refrigerant to your car's A/C system, trying to find a leak can be very difficult. Every car has a specific amount of refrigerant, so you can get the most out of your cooling system. Example 26.48 oz. is the exact amount of refrigerant for 1990 geo storm. If you randomly add 1 16oz can of refrigerant, thinking this will make cooling system super cold! Wrong adding too much refrigerant works the same as your original problem System low or empty of refrigerant. This is best done by the PROS.
Hope my answer works for you,
