1996 Buick Rivera passengers side AC blows cold and drivers blows hot whats the probable causes?

IM NOT A 100% POSITIVE BUT I BELIEVE THE PROBLEM LIES IN THE PANEL BELOW THE STEERING WHEEL TO ACESS IT YOU HAVE TO REMOVE BOTH PASS AND DRIVER KICK PANELS, THEN THERE WILL BE A BOLT ON EACH SIDE COVER OF THE DASH UNDER THE KICK PANELS. GENTLY PULL ON THE COVERS AND THEY WILL COME OFF EXPOSING BOLTS FOR THE DASH TRIM. IF YOU AND SOMEONE ELSE PULL ON THE DASH TRIM YOU WILL POPPED THE CLIPS THAT HOLD IT DOWN. AT THIS POINT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SNEAK A SWIVEL SOCKET IN TO UNBOLT THE TRIM PANEL BELOW THE STEERING WHEEL. ONCE REMOVED THERE IS A TEMP SENSOR BEHIND THAT PANEL. IT SITS RIGHT BEHIND A CIRCULAR VENT. TRY REPLACING THAT NOW YOU WILL HAVE TO GET THAT FROM THE DEALER. GOOD LUCK

Cracked drip pan on a 1996 3.8 Rivera Buick.

Hi! My name is Tom and I can help you.

By drip pan I am going to assume you mean oil pan. First you need to get your car on blocks or up in the air enough to reach the oil pan.

Remove the drain plug and drain the oil.(discard the oil). You will see a number of bolts securing the pan. Using the proper box wrench remove all the bolts.

You will see a gasket. This must be replaced. You can purchase the proper pan gasket by asking for a pan gasket at an auto parts store. While you are there ask for the proper sealant for the gasket.

Clean the pan and any oil on the surface where the gasket will touch. Place gasket sealer around the pan and seal the gasket to the pan cover. Replace the pan. Put the bolts back and fill with oil. Start the car and get it to operational temperature and check for leaks. You are now Good to go.

This is a fairly involved yet simple fix.

Power seat on drivers side of 1996 buick park ave. wont go in reverse every ting else works ok

Chances are one of the motors has gone out. There are 3 motors for each of your power seats. One controls the forward/backward motion, one controls up/down/tilt, and the third controls the reclining seat back. In my '95 model, there is one fuse for the seats under the driver's side dashboard. There should be a diagram inside the fuse panel cover denoting which one controls the seats. Hope that helps!
