Volta's ac not working when start then few minutes display error f6 and blower is off ?

SOURCE: AC fuse blows a few minutes after turning on AC

The ac clutch is most likely bad,but if the blower motor is going out ,this could happen also,because of the extra load on the system.

Ac in my 95 s10 works, but sometimes it doesn't. I have to wait a few minutes and it will come on. I changed the resistor already.


Check the plug on the blower motor. Should only be one wire and a groind. Leave it runnin and jiggle the wire on the blower motor. Coild have a short. Also the ac compressor coild be goin out. Turn the ac on and watch the compressor and see if the clutch on the outside is spinning

Plugged drainage line from ac condenser


The drain is plugged inside the blower motor case, remove the AC/Heater blower motor and clean out the leaves or mouse nest you will find in there. The blower motor is on the passenger side under the dash.

Sounds like you have a bad connection at the blower motor plug. Have you checked under the glove box where the blower motor is? Usually has a big plug with 2 heavy gauge wires. that might be melted or getting a bad connection. Try holding the plug to one side or wiggle it to see if turns off blower. If not, check your resistor that controls your fan speed, located near the fan on your a/c ducts. Usually has a plug with 4 0r 5 wires held up by 2 screws. The wires are heavy gauge as well

Sounds like the blower motor or the connection to it is failing.Next time it stops give the area below the glove compartment a good whack,if the blower does anything,change it.

AC fuse blows a few minutes after turning on AC unit. I replace the fuse and the blower will work. shortly after I turn it to AC the fuse will blow again

My van ran hot, and now my blower wont blow ac or heat? and sometimes if you hit the motor real hard it will work for a few minutes?


That is a bad motor, everything you mentioned is a dead give away of a bad motor. like work for a few minutes, starting when you hit it hard. The brush has worn and not making good contact,

After the heat or ac runs for abit force decreases


have your blower motor checked. also make sure there are no vaccum leaks at control unit or blend door valves. start there, hope this hleps.
