Cant Find radio code

The code is just for your radio and the Dealer can get it. I believe they have to get in to the PCM. It usually costs around $75.00. You might be better off buying an aftermarket stereo and installing that

I own a 2000 VW Jetta. Radio completely Dead

Have you checked the radio fuse? You may have blown the fuse when you jumped the car. The fuse box should be out under the hood encased in black plastic.

Trying to install a Pioneer DEH-11E radio in a 2000 Jetta

with this vehicle it gets kind of tricky due to it having 9volts on the positive wire instead of a full 12. the best thing to do is to buy a wireharness for it and it should give you instructions on how to provide it with the correct voltage for the radio.

I bought a used 2003 Jetta for my daughter with only 12,000 miles on it. The Monsoon radio suddenly stopped working. The display shows FM 88.1 (the radio staion) but there is no sound and the radio is...

May just be the wiring of the car or maybe something is loose or became disconnected. If the radio has been removed then that's an easy problem to get. It may also be the anti-theft system. Some vehicles can be very difficult to install a stereo system or any other add-on because of the way it's wired for the anti-theft.
I have also heard that some of the Jettas had wiring problems that were hard to trace. I know someone who had one that was an early 2000 model.
Try to find out if there were any recalls about that, but I would probably just get another one installed at some place that's experienced with radio installations because they would know how to wire these thing in. Hope this helps

Radio

Go to a radio installer and ask them to remove it for you. You can buy the keys on eBay also.
