Question about 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Went to start truck and nothing happen. but when i turn the key off all the gauges went up and down. also when i turn on the dome light it was going in and out. the truck end up staring up. the only thing i did was check the battery wire it was tight.i had move the shifter up and down and nothing happen. so i walk away. but when i use my remote to lock it. it seem to be working. so i got back in it and it started. went to the store and cut truck off and restarted and it work. got back in and it didn't start. check battery and move shifter again and the bash stop moving and started up. Got home and cut truck off tried to start over 8 times and had no problem. can the starter be grounding out or is there and short in the computer. or can it be the ignition switch. thank you for your help time.
I would be checking all of your fuses inside the cab and in the engine bay, check the water in the battery, give the terminals a clean with a steel brush and get your alternator check as it may not be charging the battery good.
