I tried to recharge My 2010 Nissan Cube's A system, I used recommended product canister, It emptied and showed pressure but it also showed it obviously was leaking as fast as it was charging. Coolant simply escaped rapidly, system failed to hold any pressure . {0} I hear many complain of "crimped " connections failing. Any ideas which line it would be if that is the case , and if so is a swap out of failed part doable . {within reason} TY
You NEVER work on A/C systems, car, window unit,
roof top, commercial--- WITHOUT PROPER TRAINING
You can hurt yourself
You can ruin your car
You DID an excellent job of violating federal laws
& polluting the atmosphere
Have a repair shop REPAIR THE LEAKS, as you said
& then evacuate, leak test & recharge the system
You should not be buying or allowed to buy the wal mart
cans of refrigerant, as you can not add to a system under pressure
without the knowledge & proper equipment
Why would a car less than 4 years old have any a/c problems???

Go to the parts store and buy (for about $10) a mechanics stethescope. It will have a metal piece you can carefully (MAKE SURE YOU DON"T PUT IN THE PATH OF A MOVING BELT OR FAN) put on the top of the A/C compressor, other end in your ears, and with a helper turning the A/C on and OFF, you should be able to determine if the sound is coming from the A/C compressor clutch. If so, replace the compress clutch or compressor. Form the limited info I have, it sounds like the clutch is bad or on the way out.
If the A/C works (blows cooler than the ambient air), it's unlikely there is any problem with valves in high or low pressure side being in wrong position (especially if no one has been monkeying with them ;~) )
SOURCE: I have a coolant leak
Sounds like either the water pump or the thermostat housing. The water pump has a small hole in the bottom where the shaft comes through, when the water pump gets worn it will leak here so you know to replace the pump. The thermostat housing will be at the motor end of the upper radiator hose where it attaches to the motor. Hope this helps.

It may be temperature sensor on radiator. Dashboard gets info from it. If this sensor is not good, ac will stop and dashboard willl show some strange temperatures.

Look forward to your update, and yes, a water pump replacement sounds better than a motor replacement!

get it clean , let it dry , if you cant see where it's leaking from try throwing flour at the area you suspect wet flour shows up good throw a few handfulls at it see what gets wet first /.. isolate the problem.thermostat/hose/hose attach brckt (plastic) :s loose clamps / look around ,you work cheaper than a mechanic :)
