Question about 2000 Kia Sportage
If it's the switch on the drivers door you need to remove the Philips screw from the interior cup/handle and remove that piece then you should be able to use a flat pocket screwdriver to remove the switch assembly. If you have the new part take it out of the box and look it over you should see a gold retainer tab. try to line up the screwdriver up the old part and pry it out then all you'll have to do is unplug it and it's removed.
