If you are refereeing to the rubber strip on the out side of the glass that you rest your arm on then it just pulls up out of a groove. Installation is to place the new strip in place and press it down into place.. Get the new strip and it will be easy to see how to remove the old one.

How do I remove and install driver window weather strip on 1985 Chevrolet el camino?

The best way is remove the door panel and take out the glass. Part of the track is bolted in and some of it just presses into the channel. Any of the seals across the top of the door, like if the window is down and your arm is resting on them. These just pry off and push back on.

Key wont open door and central locking not working so cant get into car its a vauxhall astra van v reg

Try the following in this order
1) Try all locks on all doors with key
2) Try all locks with spare key.
3) Remove window weather strip if possible and use a hooked wire, such as a coat hanger and force it down, beside the window into the door and fish around for the catch mechanism and pull.

Vauxhall calibra will not start ignition light

the flash indicates a code count the number of blinks usually a shot blink 1,2,3and so on followed by another series of blinks and it may even give 2 or more codes depending write them down and look the code up on line it could indicate that a door is open causing this issue **** as a sensor is not reading correctly a few other ideas to start with its just a matter of breaking it all down one section of area at a time to figure out the cause

Vauxhall calibra will not start ignition light

Go to GM Vauxhall website and it will indicate where to archive User Handbooks, or invest in a Haynes Manual, which as a new owner of a late model, I would suggest, be a better and safer bet. You then have 99% of Repair and Fault Finding information. Cheaper than a Garage if you have DIY expertise.
In the UK, about 25 GBP.
