Question about 2008 BMW 320D E90
Engine cut out as I was driving. (ID code 29 displayed) Following error codes: C210, 4A5F, 613E from diagnostics. What do they mean? Would an error have been shown if it was the timing chain that went?
The error codes are BMW specific and yes an error code would show up as a cam position sensor fault.

Fault Code 119 (77) - MDK throttle mechanical sticking.
The accross DTC P1580 code converts to 3 possible BMW codes, 109, 114 & 119. These all relate to the throttle assembly, which on your car is an MDK, motor driven throttle.
The first thing I would do is make sure that the cable is reinstalled correctly and secure in its bracket. I have seen one or two of these that have broken where the cable attaches to the throttle itself. If all of that looks ok I think you probably have a bad throttle.
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.
Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.
