On top of the cylinder head some silencing shields will need to come off before you can see the ignition coils to get to the spark plugs

SOURCE: I am trying to replace my honda fit spark plugs

First of all why? Most people change their sparkplugs because the car has a problem. A 2007 Honda Fit with less than 150,000 miles shouldn't need new plugs

SOURCE: location of sparkplug on 2004 Honda Odyssey EX and replacement

the spark plugs are located under the coil packs they have one or two bolts holding each one in. you have six cylinder so there should be six coil packs three facing you when you pop hood and three more located towards the back. let me know if you have any other questions.

SOURCE: how to locate number one spark plug on a 1996 honda Accord 2.7 V6

yes, on the V engines, it can vary.
in school they say
"look from top of motor, see the cylinder that is more forward
that is on FWD car forward is to right, strut.
on is most forward on all V engines. that be #1"

login to alldata.com its all there, just look
or buy the fsm or
read these. (no v6 data , i think but is free)

sorry for so slow response.

not reading the book (FSM) invites huge errors. with all cam belts.
they are tricky , as a class.
its and interference engine and guessing can be tad expensive... BOOM

Where is the fuel filter on a 2009 Honda Fit Sport?

Sadly, the filter for this car is located in the fuel tank. Before going to the trouble to try to replace it (and it may come to that) it might be worth replacing spark plugs and ensuring that all vacuum hoses are connected, tight, and not leaking.

How do I change my sparkplugs on 2008 Fit?

Hi Anonymous. If your Honda Fit is the DSi engine type with 8 ( eight ) spark plugs, the only thing you do is as you do the replacement with the outer four spark plugs by loosing the 10mm bolts holding the coils, pulling the coils upwards and by using the 16mm spark plug socket loose the spark plugs and by using a magnet just pull out the old ones and refit the new ones. It is the same procedure you have to do for the inner side other 4 (four ) spark plugs, you just have to make a slight room to have access and using a shorter extension bar for the 16mm socket. Good luck.

you can read the FSM
or read the pages on topic

diffr. years, may have different engines, diff. size engines (options) too.

you post is non specific, you never said what you cant do.
nor what was hard, or confusing, ?
so cant help.
if you have the engine with COP coils. you remove them.
1 by one, blow out the dirt in the wells.
then remove the spark plug (CCW)
then gap the new plug and put it back at about 20fl/lbs torque max.
if you cant reach a plug, use the 3/8" drive
Universal and extensions. some take 2 exentions.
one for the well and one to lean back.

I have honda fit 2001 i want know if there is a spark plug and where can i find it

if it is a gasoline engine than it has spark plugs. There are four coils bolted to the top of the valve cover. A 10mm socket can be used to remove the bolts. Unplug the coils, remove the bolts, and then remove the coils. The spark plugs will be underneath.

Do yourself a favor and use the o.e. spark plug. Most likley it is an NGK plug. They can be found at any good parts store.
