Code p2144 refers to exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) vent control--circuit low===causes wiring short to ground--EGR vent control.
Check the condition of the wiring and if ok then replace the vent control

SOURCE: peugeot 307 heater blower fault

Hi
i just had the same fault, but being in the trade it is normally only 1 of 2 problems.
the heater resitor packing up or the wiring loom.
both can be bought through peugeot.
try the heater resistor first (£40). to find it undo 7 star screws to remove glove box then look in behind centre conlsole near back of radio diconnect the black plug with a red and black cable. twist back of fan motor clockwise and remove fan(it's a bit of a tight squeeze to remove),then put your hand inside the hole you just made till you feel the flat resistor turn this anti-clockwise and disconnect green plug then reassemble as removed,

if this does not fix it then it is the loom, to remove this it is best to follow the wires from the back of fan motor up to where i think if i remember lead to 2 other plugs 1 green and 1 black on the way to another green plug up behind the drivers foot well, then thread the new loom back the same way.

on the 405 i think the resistor is in behind the fan motor accessed throgh the driver side footwell again you need to first take out the fan motor normally twisted anti-clockwise. it is un common for 405 to burn out heat resistors it is normally down to a wire fault.

hope this helps

SOURCE: i want to change my battery,on my peugeot 307 2ltr

There is an item called a "setting saver" or something like that. It's a small power supply that plugs into the cigarette lighter, that keeps radio and computer active while changing battery. (I imagine you could make one by attaching a cigarette lighter power adapter to a good battery and plugging it in there.Don't use one with a transformer, just straight 12v!

SOURCE: fuel preasure control fault code p1112

P1112 is for a problem with the fuel-rail pressure sensor CIRCUIT.
You need a new rail-pressure sensor and modded cable.

SOURCE: what is the antipullution fault on peugeot 406?

If you drive your car more likely for short distances then the regenerating process couldn't be started to clean the cloged particulate filter and finally your car's ecu show you a antipollution fault. Drive your car to a motorway or dual carriage way.

The temperature meter should be showing above 70°C when you begin with this process. If this is the case, slow down place 3rd gear and drive at 3000-3500 rev /min to let the ecu to kick the regeneration process. Keep driving car 15 minutes in this state will be enough to solve this problem.

peugeot and citreon cars do bite high generaly, it is hydaulic there is no adjustment. but it also depends on how high it is ?? does it slip if you slightly rest your foot on whilst driving?? they do have a problem with the bearings going through the cover as it is the same bearing as a HDI . but you woud notice this as a different problem. ie noise or vibration on pedal. call me for more info .. paul @ the clutch centre..01527 64440 07790438337

How to fix an electrical circuit fault on peugeot 307

Test charging circuit (usually for free at parts store). A battery getting drained can cause much of this. With car sitting still you could try removing fuses one at a time to see if there is an unusual draw.

Check brake fluid level. If OK, get the car scanned for error codes. Horn not working could be blown fuse or the horn relay.

check oil and coolant levels first . Have the fault codes read to find which sensor activated the light as it can be engine or transmission . When you have determined the fault and had it fixed then reset the light with a code reader.

The esp light coming on is indicating a fault......therefore a trouble code should be recorded within th ecu.......i would assume that a possible wheel sensor is intermittently faulty..but it is hard to come up with the left hand one or the right hand one.......if you take the car to a mechanic they should be able to connect a scan tool, which will provide you with a trouble code.....which will point you in the direction of the fault

it sounds like your electric power steering pump has gone. if the esp light is on then it means it has recorded a fault in the electrical stability program system and may need to be plugged in to read codes, the fault may refer to a fauly wheel speed sensor
