I have a friend that had the same problem with his 5 speed. it ended up being a sensor that tells your vehicle that the clutch is pressed in. might want to check that first before you think of changing the starter

Using keyless ford focus can't turn ignition after clutch is pressed

Sounds like an interlock solenoid is out of adjustment. Pushing the clutch is suppose to allow a solenoid to hit a striker and send an electric signal to release the ignition switch. Just to be careful with the car rolling if the clutch is depressed.

I have a 92 sentra lights come on but when i turn key nothing happens. Starter good ,relay good, head lights don't dim when you turn key . Car won't turn over at all

If by lights, you mean the dash lights come on, then ignition switch must be getting power. If dash is not working with key on, check the 30 amp fuse link which powers the ignition switch.
If switch is good and starter is good, the start wire from switch goes to, if automatic, to inhibitor relay (the park/neutral function) and then to starter. There is also an inhibitor switch on the shifter or on the transaxle that turns on the inhibitor relay when key is on and shifter in park or neutral. The inhibitor switch is powered by a 10 amp fuse D.
If you have a manual transmission, the start wire from ignition switch goes to the clutch interlock relay and then to the starter. This relay is turned on by the clutch interlock switch on the clutch pedal.
You can check for power on either relay, the inhibitor relay or the clutch interlock relay, with a test light. Pull the relay out, have the key held in start position. Now both relays would have power showing on two terminals where the relay plugs in. If inhibitor relay only has power on one terminal or no power at all, either ignition switch is not sending power or fuse D is out or the inhibitor switch is not working right. If clutch interlock switch does not have power on two terminals either the ignition switch is not sending power or the clutch interlock switch is bad.
If the relay checks are good, check for power on the small wire to starter with key held in start. If you have power there, the starter solenoid must be out.

i have two things that come to mind first of which is your neutral safety switch ...its located on the clutch pedal ..its to prevent the car from being started in gear it may not be working correctly and wont let power to the started when you turn the key...most likely the problem...the other thing if thats not it you may need to check the ignition switch...

Either clutch nuetral safety switch or antitheft system turning off starter.

Ive heard of people bypassing the clutch neutral safety switch. I beleive it is as simple as finding the button under the clutch pedal and snipping the two wires and twisting together

(electricity) An electric switch that is connected to the ignition switch of an internal combustion engine and prevents starting the engine unless the transmission shift lever is in the neutral or park position, or the clutch pedal is depressed.

Might try tilting the steering wheel up or down and starting in different positions, maybe loose wire in tilt.

The ignition is in the center console between the front seats.Depress the clutch and put the shifter into reverse position.Put the key in ignition and turn till it starts. The transmission should always be in Reverse position before removing key from ignition cyclinder.

Car starts fine. stopped at redlight, went to take off and car would not move. it's a 5 spd 91 accord. put car in neutral let go of clutch and it kills.HELP! it's like i had my foot on the brake or...

One immediate possibility occurs to me, if letting out the clutch in Neutral kills the engine - transmission failure. Locked brakes would not cause the engine to die in neutral. Your trans is siezed - so if you connect it to the engine (by releasing the clutch) it dies. Your front wheels cannot roll for the same reason.
