Car run hot when aircondistion is on high,when i turn air off or down car timp gose down


I think your radiator cooling fan is not coming on when the a/c compressor kicks on. Check the cooling fan relays, low and high speed, and the fan too.

Won,t idle in morning


i would check coolent timp sincer are now im not sher if wich one this has but il list all of them ari timp sincer masflow sincer are map sincer the coolent timp sincer is most likely to be bad but also check iac sincer could be cloged are derty wich will afecket the idle

Where is the coolant sensor located on a nissan sentra 2001 1.8 engin


I assume you are referring to the coolant temp sensor. as you look at the front pulleys of the engine, its on the right side behind a bracket just above the alternator. See picture below and let me know if you have questions. If you are referring to the coolant level sensor, it would be on the side of the coolant reservoir.

Hello and welcome. here is a picture of the coolant sensor. the coolant sensor is mounted just below the thermostat housing in the intake manifold.

check sensor on reservoir. Unplug connector to sensor to see if light goes out. If yes, replace sensor. If no, wire may be shorted.

How do you replace coolant temperature sensor on an 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue


Removal & Installation To Remove:
ECT sensor 3.5L engine 93174g14.gif

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  2. Drain the coolant below the level of the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.
  3. Disconnect the ECT sensor electrical connector.
  4. Carefully remove the ECT sensor.
To Install:
WARNING
Damage to the coolant sensor will affect the operation of the fuel control system.
  1. Coat the ECT sensor threads with thread sealer.
  2. Install the ECT sensor. Tighten the sensor to 15 ft lb (20 Nm) on 3.5L engines and 22 ft lb (30 Nm) on 3.8L engines.
  3. Install the ECT sensor electrical connector.
  4. Connect the battery ground cable.
  5. Refill the cooling system using the recommended procedure.

Is there an engine coolant sensor on a 2001 t&c and if there is where is it? My engine fan does not come on. I tested the fan and it works.


2.4 ENGINE COOLANT SENSOR IS LOCATED ON THERMOSTAT HOUSING THE 3.3 AND 3.8 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR IS LOCATED LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD.ALSO CHECK COOLANT FAN FUSE AND RELAY.FUSES RELAYS LOCATED LEFT SIDE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.
