SOURCE: Where do I add power steering fluid?

The power steering pump is in the front of the engine. You will see the serpentine belt on the pulley and it will look something like htis picture. The pump has a resevoir with a cap on top which is removable and has a dipstick built in to tell you how low you are on fluid.

SOURCE: Just changed my oil on a 2005 Buick Lesabre. The

Most common reset is....... turn on the key (do not start) and depress gas pedal 3 times in 5 seconds.
Remove floor mat to do this.
It should be reset.
You may have to repeat this....it does always take on the first try.

2nd common......push mileage reset until oil life shows......once showing hold button down until 100% oil life shows.

You may have one or the other.

SOURCE: freon and connector for 1986 buick lesabre

there are two hoses coming out of the firewall side by side .. one is large and one is small ... they both have valve ports but only the large tube (low pressure side) is to be used for adding refrigerant .. if your connector from the R134a can does not fit ..then you probably have the older R12 system .. that has been outlawed now because of ozone layer destruction caused by it ..you cant get that anymore .. you can however convert your system to R134a but it involves washing out the entire system and replacing all rubber parts ..then attaching adapters so the R134a will connect (availible auto parts) .. by law any remaining R12 in your system has to be recovered, not vented to air .. (actually the r12 is worth a fortune right now but it may not be legal to sell ..its about a 25 times increase) ... the modification process requires a "certified" tech to do the work and the results wont be quite as good as the old r12 ... at least it will work if the system is cleaned out enough .. the two refrigerants dont like each other .. that is, the lubes that are used do nasty things when mixed .. if you wanted to you could become "certified" by attending some classes and passing a test on ozone layer depletion ... now they have discovered that r134a is a powerfull green house gas .. so that also will be phased out in the future .. its like 1600 times worse than CO2 ... r12 was a wonderful chemical .. very hard to beat its performance and stability .. .

SOURCE: 2005 buick lesabre cold a/c from right vents warm

Remove the dash and check the vent doors/blend doors and confirm nothing is getting blocked to get the doors open. The doors operated by motor. If the motor is not functioning then it can cause the door to go slow or not open.Check and confirm if both motor and door functioning properly. If not then replace the faulty one. ------------- IF the motor does not move the door... then the most likely failure is the motor. IF the motor DOES move the door... then the A/C system should be checked for the proper operating pressures and proper amount of freon in the system. ( a low freon level could cause this type of issue as well as a faulty temp actuator).the easiest way to see if the motor is faulty would be to disconnect the battery (negative cable only) for about 5 minutes... reconnect the battery, start the vehicle and let it idle for 2 minutes WITHOUT TOUCHING THE A/C CONTROLS. after the 2 minutes are up... attempt to operate the drivers side controls... IF the motor works normally... then it was just a matter of reprogramming the actuator... IF the motor doesn't operate normally... then it should be replaced. --------- But if all checked ok then, then the ONLY other issues that could cause uneven temps in the evap core would be a partially clogged orifice tube, more than 15% air in the a/c system, or a compressor that doesn't have the proper pressures due to a failed plate or valve. --------- In some cases the freon level is ok but there is a minute ac pressure leak. And this reduces the freon or do not let the proper amount of freon to pass the evap to get the cool air .So get the ac compressor pressure checked,If there is a pressure leak then this is related to compressor problem. If the leak is minor it can be sealed with leak sealant, but if its major then its compressor related problem. The ac pressure test can be done at any local car garage. -----

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

You need to hook up to your low side port. It is located on the passenger side a/c hose assembly next to the strut tower. It "should" have a blue or black cap on it.

2004 Buick lesabre refrigerant capacity

There's a label under the hood with that exact information. If all the freon has leaked out, you need to find the leak and repair it first. Then you have to use a vacuum pump for an hour to remove air that has entered the system. Then you add freon. 3 cans will do it, but use a pressure gauge to tell you when the system is full.

What Freon do you put in

Automotive freon has been standard for much longer than your car is old. Just get one of the many refill kits at the autoparts store, and add it to your system.

Where is the opening to add freon on a 2000 buick lesabre

I have a 2000 Lesabre and it is located on the passenger side of the engine compartment right on top of the Canister. There are two ports, one is larger than the other and both have a threaded plastic cap on them. The smaller one is the low side where you can check your R-134 pressure. Start engine and run the A/C on MAX. Remove the plastic cap from the smaller valve connect your gauge to that valveFollow the instuctions and tempurature specifications on the R-134 package. f9068a37-e087-4f01-b346-ecdafc697251.jpeg 587e478d-1464-4e2e-8ad9-44bf76552d6f.jpegThere ya go man, as you're hooking up the refill line hit the trigger so u don't allow any air in the lines instead of just straight freon.

How to add refrigerants? To a 2000 buick lesabre. My car is blowing hot air it went from cool to hot. and now it just hot air coming out.

look for the fitting that is the smaller of the two and is attached to the line that is the larger of the two, this is the "low" fill side, add 2 cans of r134a freon each can is one pound the system empty holds 2 3/4 pounds of freon thats 2 3/4 cans.
I would buy 1 can of leak detector/freon combo and one can of dye/freon combo, if it takes more add a small amount of a third can that has an oil mixture in with the freon that would complete your systems needs the cheapest and fastest way possible.
If you want it done to the book then you need to have a certified A/C man vacumn pump down the system, replace the reciever drier, add freon and oil to fill the system and then check for leaks.
Happy Motoring!!
