Clutch and fan assembly are connected to the pump with four bolts. Have someone push down on the drivebelt so the pump pulley won't turn and break each bolt free, then remove the bolts.

you need to replace the fan resistor located by fan motor if not there then trace red and black power wires to locate resistor behind or under dash it wont be mounted far from fan motor

They put pilot bearing in at the factory so the motors can have any trany instaled in production and not need to program one in.

You will need to remove the blower and ,make sure theres nothing blocking the air flow and also that the fan on the blower is not broken off motor.

I have a 2006 Chevy Tahoe Z71. What causes a 4x4


sometimes the vacuum line going to the actuator cracks.this will cause the diaphram in the actuator to not depress fully. you should be able to press in the diaphram by hand easily,if you cant,then the actuator is bad...usually due to debri getting into it,or from non use.

The iat looks like the mass air flow its a hard plastic cylinder that connects to the intake tube after the air cleaner
