MB had been using fluid evacuators for oil and coolant changes for about 20 years and out works great.

Where is the fuel drain plug on a Holden Captiva 2008?

There is no fuel drain plug. To remove the fuel from the fuel tank you will need a fluid evacuator or similar to pump it out.

How can I get access to replace fuel pump?

You will need to pump the fuel from the fuel tank using a fluid evacuator and then the fuel tank will need to be dropped to access the in tank fuel pump.

You will find a few descriptions on how to do this on the internet such as this one.................

How do I drain the fuel tank

You use a fluid evacuator like one of the MITYVAC products to pump the fuel from the tank. You cannot drain it completely that way but you will get nearly all of it. If you attach a thin tube to the evacuator tubing for the last of the fuel that will help scrounge most of it from the bottom of the tank. To remove the rest you would need to drop the tank out of the vehicle. There will be some small amount sitting in the in- tank fuel pump as well..

If you only want to get most of the dirty fuel out, then use the evacuator to get as much as you can and then add some good fuel. Then pump that out and you will get most of the bad fuel mixed in with it.

How to drain fuel tank on 03 camry

You use a fluid evacuator such as one of the Mityvac products. Alternatively you can remove the tank from the car when the fuel level is low and tip the remaining fuel out of it.

2003 sl500 the right side line is leaking hydronic fluid and the top won't open

your problem is the fluid is low and doesn't have enough fluid in the pump to operate. you can add fluid at the rear underneath your spare tire. the fluid is a special blend only at mercedes benz dealer. anything else will cause the top cylinders to fail and it is very costly to repair. the fluid is about $20. It leaks because you have a leaking seal in the top cylinder. Mercedes knew this would happen this is why it leaks right in front of your face hard to ignore that huh.

Why is there tension on my steering wheel when i try an turn my 2002 zx2 for escort

If it became stiff over time, the most reasonable thing to assume is a problem with the Power Steering System: Check the fluid level, if that's fine then the power steering pump may be failing. Before you waste your money on a garage repair, try flushing your old power steering fluid by removing the bottom hose to drain the fluid or use a pressure evacuator to remove it, then put the hose back on and refill it with your engine running in order to turn the pump and run the fliud through. If all else fails, replace the pump.
If your steering become stiff for just a moment while your driving, your pump can be failing just like above. Have it inspected before your replace it.

How do i check the transmission fluid in my clk 320 and if it is low what type do i put in it

In order to check the fluid in the transmission you need the Mercedes Benz dip stick. It's a special tool needed for all the 722.6 transmissions. Best thing is probably to just stop by a Mercedes Independent shop where they can check it real quick. It uses a synthetic based fluid. I always go with the factory fluid.

How do i change engine oil & filter in my 2007 Mercedes C280 RWD?

If you take off the plastic panel under your car, you will see the oil drain nut, here you can open it to drain all the oil. It takes about 8 quartz to fill it up. Use the synthetic oil 0W 30 if possible. Open the hood, There is a nice plastic cover with the Mercedes logo on it. You lift it up and pull toward you. Once it is out you will see the Oil filter right in the front. It is too much hassle to go underneath the car to take out the plastic panel to access the oil drain nut and put it pack when you done, that why you can see $300 cost at the dealer. You may want to consider buying the MityVac Fluid Evacuator 7201 to remove the oil from the top without removing the panel from the bottom. Have fun in doing it.

What transmission fluid can I use in my 1993 Mercedes Benz 190E

AF3 onepx.gif DEXRON®-III Automatic Transmission Fluid
BMW: Power steering use AF3; Models with combined power steering,
hydraulic brake booster, self-leveling suspension system use SLF
Mercedes-Benz: Use only manufacturer approved fluid

Look on the back of the bottle of fluid you are looking to buy, if it does not say is is approved by MB, don't use it.
