Question about 1997 Buick LeSabre
I thought you were telling our story.
One day I got in our car and there was a lot of water that seemed to run from the back to the front.
My husband worked on a plastic shield that goes under the hood over top of the heater vent. There was a seal on it that seemed to be coming off. So my husband took it out and resealed. I havn't gotten the water out yet but we are hoping this is the solution.
Is that the piece that the other person was talking about
Take your plastic shroud off between hood and front winshield . clean out leaves and deris so rain water or any water can drain out under front fenders instead of inside your car. water can and will damage your resistor module next to your heater blower fan. one example of this is fan works only on high speed only ..

IF YOU HAVE A SUNROOF, ONE OF THE DRAIN TUBES MAY HAVE CAME OFF. YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE THE INTERIOR TO GET THE WATER OUT OF THE CARPET MATTING. YOU MAY HAVE TO REPLACE THE MATTING. IF THE MATTING IS NOT REPLACED OR DRIED PROPERLY IT WILL MILDEW AND STINK.
USE A WATER HOSE TO CHECK FOR A LEAK, START LOW AND WORK YOUR WAY UP. CHECK THE BODY SEAMS, WINDSHIELD, SUNROOF, AND ANY OTHER AREAS YOU MIGHT THINK ARE LEAKING.
