SOURCE: are there 2 fuses for the hassard and turn signals

Sounds like the flasher is bad, that would be the round silver breaker that plugs into the fuse block.

1970 volkswagen beetle, my #1 fuse keeps blowing. I am using an 8 amp as suggested, but as soon as i put it in and turn the car on it pops. Any suggestions?

Hey Kellan,
I would try to find out WHY the fuse is blowing.. but... you might try a 10 amp.. BUT NO MORE.... if the 10 amp blows right away... you MUST find out why they are blowing...
Check battery connections, ignition switch, any where the main wiring is passing through the firewall, or anywhere the harness is reduced through tight spaces...

Why does my car stereo begin to display superfast and tweek and flash when I am driving higher RPM's in a 1970 VW Bug. It is over volting the radio right?

check your charging system with a DMM it should read about 12.5v when engine not running and 13 to 14v when running any figure above that is definitely an over charge and could lead to various malfunctions on the vehicle.

1967 VW bug turn signals do not work

When you move the turn signal on and off = do the lights go on and off? if this is the case, replace the "flasher" under the dash. check for burn out bulbs. etc

there should be a set screw but if not and you see a little slot at the bottom of the mirror stick a very small screw driver in to press a tang inside and push the mirror up the little metal piece will stay on the window

I got a 1974 vw bug the turn signal do not want to work at all what can i do?

All grounds need to be double checked for cleanliness and contact at each of the light assemblies. There is also a turn signal relay located just behind the speedometer unit. This is most likely but if you need a wiring diagram, let me know.

Is it not blowing enough air or is the air never getting cold the first may be a clogged cabin air filter a pain to get to need to remove the center and right side of the dash top plus anothe cover to get to it.
