firstly there should be drain holes in the corners, open sunroof and look in all the corners, if they are blocked then any water that gets thru cant run away, thus coming into your car. if you can figure out how to take the glass right out, it has been known to take some thin electrical wire and run it round behind the seal, making the seal a little wider...

SOURCE: Hi I have the same issue with my a 2002 explorer

There are drains for the sunroof that are located in the coners of the roof, these plug up and the water drains into car, you will need to remove the cover were the seatbelt is and see if the hose that connects to the drain fell off or if drain is plugged, open the roof all the way back and using a bottle filled with water , pour over the drains one at a time and see if it drains if not you will need to use a coat hanger and unplug them but i would still check for the hose off on the side that leaks water. good day.

Yeah ford would just replace it , You need a company that installs sun roofs they may well have just the seals for this sun roof , I would google sunroof installers in you area and see if there is one local who will fix this . I would say this is also not helping with you other problems .

Cadlillac cts 2005 sun roof not working - where is fuse box for sun roof

Hi there:

Check Rear Underseat Fuse Block (Passenger's Side) that is located under the rear seat on the passenger's side of the vehicle.

The rear seat cushion must be removed to access the rear fuse block. See "Removing the Rear Seat Cushion" listed previously from the Owners Manual.

To access the fuse block, push in the two tabs located at each end of the fuse block cover. Then lift the cover off.

Plenty of cars have sun roofs and roof mounted DVD players, you just need to look at where youre positioning it in relation to the interior slide sunroof trim so it isnt screwed through mounting DVD,and look at the position in relation to the passengers looking at it

Leaky sunroof Acura legend

Adjust the front clips to both sides of the sun roof to ensure a good tight fit. The adjustment may mean the removal of the factory fitted head lining to adjust the roof, but if you do it carefully, it will clip back into place, but a word of help, fit the rear of the sun roof when it's in the tilt position, leaving you to fit the head lining carefully from within. Keep some carpet cleaner to hand so any finger marks can by removed straight away and a t towel to dry the damp residue

Headliner removal

this is not an easy repair w/o damaging the headliner. There is nothing up there except maybe a roof brace. Check the luggae rack again by trying to move all the peices. One must be loose.
there are 27 steps!
If equipped, remove the overhead console.
  1. Remove the screw and disconnect the electrical connectors
  2. If equipped, remove the electronic compass sensor.
  3. If equipped, disconnect the auto dimming interior mirror connector.
  4. Remove the interior/map reading lamp. For additional information, refer to Section 417-02 .
    • Upon installation, make sure the notch in the headliner aligns with the tab on the interior/map reading lamp bracket.
  5. Disconnect the roof opening panel electrical connector and the wire connector pin-type retainer.
  6. Remove the gimp around the roof opening panel.
    1. Remove the sun visors. For additional information, refer to Sun Visor in this section.
    1. Position aside the door opening weatherstrips
  7. NOTE: Installing the LH side sun visor clip will support front of headliner while working on headliner.
Install the LH side sun visor retainer clip.
    • Loosely install the screw.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector and the wiring pin-type retainers on the A-pillar.
    1. Release the upper B-pillar trim panel clips and position aside the upper B-pillar trim panel.
Release the C-pillar trim panel clips and position aside the C-pillar trim panel
    1. Remove the rear upper headliner trim panel.
    2. Remove the D-pillar trim panel.
    Vehicles with rear climate control
    1. Remove the rear auxiliary A/C controls.
      • Disconnect the electrical connectors
    2. Position aside the LH rear quarter trim panel.
    3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
    4. Remove the pin-type retainers and the upper air duct.
      • Push down on the air duct, tilt the top outward and pull upward to remove the air duct
    5. Remove the lower air duct.
    6. Disconnect the electrical connector located at the C-pillar.
      • Release the wiring harness pin-type retainers.
    7. : To prevent damage to the coat hanger retainer, use a 3/16-inch flat-blade screwdriver for this step. Remove the third row coat hooks.
      • Open the access cover.
      • Insert a screwdriver into the coat hook slot and turn the screwdriver 90 degrees so that it engages in the plastic component slot. This will spread the steal attachment clip wings to allow the plastic component to disengage. The steal clip will stay engaged in the sheet metal.
    8. Remove the rear headliner pin-type retainer.
    9. NOTE: An assistance is required to help support the center of the headliner for the remaining steps.
      1. s2n~us~en~file=ani_caut.gif~gen~ref.gif CAUTION: To prevent damage to the coat hanger retainer, use a 3/16-inch flat-blade screwdriver for this step.

      2. Remove the LH side sun visor retainer clip.
        • Open the access cover and remove the screw.
      3. NOTE: Rear seats must be folded down and front seats reclined back for this step.
Tilt the RH side of the headliner upward and remove the headliner from the rear of the vehicle.
    good luck
