Question about 2009 Hyundai Elantra
Power window will roll down but not up. Tested the voltage leading to the window motor and see +/-12V when the switch is activated. Replaced the motor but still have the same symptom. When the motor is detached from the window assembly/gears but still wired to the switch, it will only rotate in one direction.
Didn't need to replace the motor
You could have put battery voltage
directly to it & run it in either direction
by switching your power & ground feeds
The problem is a switch not working
If you had a wiring diagram, you would know where
to test for the problem
Unplug the switch & test it,if you can figure it out
