Question about Cars & Trucks
IF these are mechanical locks where you push down a button at the door edge then it will necessary to hold the door handle in the opening position as you close the door. The key will unlock the button when you need to open the door.

Look under your steering wheel right under the dash. There should be a small white strip with 5 numbers. This is your master code for your vehicle. If you bought the car used and they give you a code, they could have made their own code, but the master will override it. If this don't help, the module for the doors may be going bad.

Is it remote locking? if so push hard against the door while the boot handle is in the open position and then pull hard towards you, they sometimes stick on the latch so you need to work it back and forth to free it off, if you can get to the mechanism through the back seat spray all aropund the inside of the lock with wd40 this should help free it off. Also while you are pushing and pulling get someone to lock and unlock the car repeatedly with the remote and the key.
Ther is a very small latch on the boot lock they get jammed when the weather turns cold, when you get it open try and get some copper grease and apply it to prevent it from heppening again.
If you still cannot get it open after this please get back to me for more info.

A common problem with these are that the power door lock actuator freezes, and wont let the door unlock all the way,or the latch rusts up and again wont let door open, see if the lock arm is going up and down all the way, if not then try grabbing the lock with pliers and pulling up and then opening the door, or pull and push a few times then try to open the door, good luck.
