You replaced only one head-- why?

You had it reconditioned or installed a junk yard one?

Sludge is not good,it is a sign of neglect from day one,
when the vehicle left the assy plant

Can't guess at ticking noise from the internet

No idea how it sounded or ran before you took it apart

Blows what fuses & why?

I know your asking the questions, but you need to have wiring diagrams & ability to do some testing & should possibly have a friend with experience weigh in & offer some advice

SOURCE: vacuum lines from intake dodge dakota sport v-6 magnum

On my 2002 dodge dakota there is a hose that runs off of the front of the intake manifold(facing front end of the engine compartment) This hose was disconnected and there was a cap on the stud at the bottom the intake. The hose was of course a perfect fit. The engine is now running a bit smoother and the all is well with the world.

I have a 97 dodge dakota sport and want to disable the passenger side air bag. Not sure which fuse cavity is for passenger side airbag 18 or 19? Do not want to pull wrong one

My 97 has a place in the dash under the radio to insert your ignition key
where you can turn the passenger side airbag off. If I were you i wouldnt pull the fuse for it because it could tell the computer that there is a problem that could
cause other problems. Just turn it off with your key.

My 1993 dodge dakota sports is leaking water into the cab on the passenger side its not threw the air vents and my ac fuse blows out evertime it happens

The only way water can get into the cab is either a blocked air vent drain, leaking windscreen seal or rubber, damaged panel joint, badly sealing wiper arm. badly sealing door. Try and follow a possible trail. Water will move great distances before dropping so the leak could be far from the results.

Rain water leak

Did you have the windshield replaced recently? This is typically caused by faulty installation of a windshield. Sometimes it can be fixed by adding windshield sealant (polyurethene, not silicone) where the windshield is adhered to the subframe - most likely along the bottom edge.

2001 Dodge Dakota 3.9L oil pressure

The pickup tube is a bad design in these engines, I have fixed several with the same problem, you can weld on a GM screen move it 1/4 of a inch away from the pan or add 1 inch to the bottom of the pan, (use a high volume pump) the problem is the screen is too close and too small and will pick up any sludge off the bottom. also it's great to make a access plate on the bottom of the pan using a Volkswagen Bug oil cover plate, it can be removed with bolts after a oil drain to clean the screen without the hassle of removing the whole oil pan by lifting the engine on these trucks. Good Luck
