Question about 1996 Lincoln Town Car
I beleive I have found the answer. Sevo motor on heat exchange flap continues to turn in one direction. The flap has a little attachment coupling on top of the flap that the motor fits into. The housing is split at the attachment point, thus allowing the motor to continuosly in one direction. Will not close heater duct. Dealer only. Must buy center portion of upper duct. flap is not sold seperatly. $225.00-$300.00. And you do have to remove dash. Good luck.... manwhofishes
I posted in wrong window. I intended to post resolution. I ordered the section of ducting with the climate control flap in it. From lincoln ( Ford ) dealership. I will remove dash and install the part tomorrow. I have a small mobile mechanic service on Possum Kingdom lake near Graford Tx. 76449. Thank you for geting back to me.....
