I have a 2008 Yukon Denali. the problem I have is the vehicle is jerking when it slows down and accelerates. I took to GMC dealership and they said I need to replace the left engine mount and I did but the problem did not go away, it does the same at a highway speed when I accelerate. does anyone know or have this problem being fixed. please help.

Mounts are not the problem! GMC did not do a good job for you. Go to an independent agent with a good reputation and get a full engine evaluation with new test equipment. Either the timing, fuel system, or plugs need attention, that can be evaluated by a good service agent. Forget GMC!

SOURCE: While accelerating, the vehicle hesitate and even jerks

Hesitation, jerking, acts as if it's not getting fuel? Have the egr/coil checked! I had same problem, thought it might be injectors, after delving deeper into it,I found the coil was defective

SOURCE: When i accelerate there is hesitation and jerking?

It means there is a problem in the carburetor of your car . But if then so you still have to check the accelerator springs and pedal. For there are worn out or destroyed parts then replace them for good .About the carburetor.Prepare the equipment or tools to be used in servicing the carburetor .So that when carburetor will be repaired or serviced no parts will be damage or lost. Locate the carburetor. Disconnect the fuel lines , the accelerator cable and the magnetic jet from the carburetor.Dis -assemble the carburetor.Clean carburetor with carburetor cleaner.Don't forget to observe safety rules. If there are worn out parts or destroyed parts then replace them .But you the owner don't have time to do the job then go to a car shop mechanic and let them do the job.

SOURCE: 02 yukon denali has a whining noise similar to bad wheel bearings

the jerking and noise you are experiencing is the drive chain and bearings in the transfer case also you may want to check the end play in both front and rear pinion bearings and yokes

SOURCE: 2004 YUKON XL DENALI, new throttle messed up delayed shift points

I recently had a low engine power on my 2003 Denali. The check engine light came on and I couldn't go above 40 mph. I took it in the next morning but by this time the check engine light had gone off. The mechanic had just recently seen the same problem in another Denali in which they changed the battery and had no problems since. I also decided to have them change out my battery and I have not had the problem since either. I would stay away from the dealership if I were you, and always get a second opinion. Most smaller shops wont charge for a diagnostic where the dealership will charge at least 80 just to tell you what might be wrong and that will only work if you have a warning light on at the time.

This is normal operation for these windows, there is no way to get around it as the tracks in the door are onyl long enough to allow them halfway.

2008 Yukon Denali XL battery draw

The easiest way to find the draw is to take a volt/ohm meter and remove the positive lead and connect the meter in series using the amp meter selection. By series, I mean hook the black meter lead to the battery, and the red meter lead to the battery cable.
Check your amp draw. (make sure you remove the bulb for your under hood light and everything off and closed. It should be milliamps.
If you have a more than several milli amps, start disconnecting fuses on at a time and put them back until you find the circuit that is drawing down the battery. Once you find the circuit, then it gets down to finding out whats shorted or bad in that circuit.
Good luck
