Question about 2011 Hyundai i20 1.2

Where do I get or how do I get the audio system pin code.?

After a flat battery was removed, charged and replaced, when the audio system "on" button is pressed a code...presumably a security code of some sort is required. As I do not know where my owners manual is as it has been misplaced....is there any way to find/acquire said code.??

You need to take the car to the dealer who can use their computer attached to the cars brain to reset the necessary components. Or read the manual in your glove compartment for individual instructions on how to reset codes.

According to this charging system isn't working correctly ! This is a computer controlled charging system .
Principles of Operation
The powertrain control module (PCM) controlled charging system determines the optimal voltage setpoint for the charging system and communicates this information to the voltage regulator. This system is unique in that it has 2 unidirectional communication lines between the PCM and the generator/regulator. Both of these communication lines are pulse-width modulated (PWM). The generator communication (GEN COM) line communicates the desired setpoint from the PCM to the voltage regulator. The generator monitor (GEN MON) line communicates the generator load and error conditions to the PCM. The third pin on the voltage regulator, the A circuit pin, is a dedicated battery voltage sense line.
The charging system voltage is controlled by the PCM. The generator charges the battery and at the same time supplies power for all of the electrical loads that are required. The battery is more effectively charged with a higher voltage when the battery is cold and a lower voltage when the battery is warm. The PCM is able to adjust the charging voltage according to the battery temperature by using a signal from the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. This means the voltage setpoint is calculated by the PCM and communicated to the regulator by a communication link.
The PCM simultaneously controls and monitors the output of the generator. When the current consumption is high or the battery is discharged (the PCM recognizes this and increases the output of the generator to accommodate), the system is also able to increase the idle speed to increase the charge.
To minimize the engine drag when starting the engine, the PCM does not allow the generator to produce any output until the engine has started. The PCM then progressively increases the output of the generator.
The PCM turns the charging system warning indicator off after the engine is started and illuminates it under fault conditions (when the generator is not generating the correct amount of current with the engine running). The charging system warning indicator is also illuminated by the PCM whenever the key is ON with the engine OFF.
This is a System 4 charging system, which uses the GEN MON and GEN COM lines to control and monitor the charging system through the PCM. System 4 charging systems are virtually identical in design and therefore, share the same diagnostics. The circuit numbers and colors may be different, but the functions are the same.

Need radio code for 2006 suzuki FORENZA

A local dealer can help. They will have a code based on your VIN. Also, you can try this: The audio security system is activated whenever the audio system circuit is disconnected from the battery. A four-digit security code must be entered in order for the audio system to resume functioning. The security code is stamped on a card located in the vehicle (usually in the glove box). The following security code entering procedure must be used to deactivate the audio security system:
After connecting the audio security system to the battery, "CODE" will flash on the display.
Enter the proper security number into the unit, using the preset buttons No. 1 through 8.
For example, if the security number is "1234":
Press the preset button No. 1. "CODE" will disappear and "1 --- " will appear on the display.
Press the preset button No. 2, and "12 -- " will appear.
Press the preset button No. 3, and "123- " will appear.
Press the preset button No. 4, and "1234" will appear and flash three times.
The audio system will function and will transfer to the radio. If the incorrect security number is XXXXX into the unit, "Err" will appear followed by "CODE" and there will be several audible beeps. If this happens, repeat the security entering procedure beginning with Step 2.
If, after repeated entry of the wrong code, unit will enter "lockup" & will need to be repaired

Wiring diagram

I would have the battery tested. The security alarm normally draws power when the car is not running. If the battery is not fully charged or will not fully charge, the onboard computer and the security system may drain enough power to make a bad battery go dead.
You could check the wires at the fuse block to see if more than one wire is attached to the output side. Most connections are made in the wiring harness and would be difficult to find. Are there any hidden light bulbs that could stay on? Do all the systems on that fuse work properly?

I could not operate the radio and the cd changer since i bought the car. when i press any button it will show 'error' and the car has no manual...please how do I get the code?. the chasis number is...

The battery must have gone dead or have been replaced before you bought the car.
Your car’s audio system will disable itself if it is disconnected from electrical power for any reason. To make it work again, you must enter a specific five-digit code in the Preset buttons. Because there are hundreds of number combinations possible from five digits, making the system work without knowing the exact code is nearly impossible.
You should have received a card with your manual (if you got one with the car) that lists your audio system’s code number and serial number. If you don't have the card, you can get the code number from your Honda dealer, but to do this, you will need the system’s serial number.
If your car’s battery is disconnected or goes dead, or the radio fuse is removed, the audio system will disable itself. If this happens, you will see ‘‘Code’’ in the frequency display the next time you turn on the system. Use the Preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. If it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.
Hope this is helpful. I know it's a troublesome process of you are out of the country.

How do i shut off the security system after replacing the battery

On EX, SE, and EX V-6 models
If you are talking about the overall security system in which the horn sounds and a combination of headlights, parking lights, side marker lights and taillights flash (and may also involve your radio), the alarm continues for two minutes, then the system resets. To reset an alarming
system before the two minutes have elapsed, unlock either front door
with the key or the remote transmitter. I believe this works when a battery has been changed.

You should have received a card that lists your audio system’s code
number and serial number. It is best to store this card in a safe place at
home. In addition, you should write the audio system’s serial number in
this Owner’s Manual. If you should happen to lose the card, you must
obtain the code number from your Honda dealer. To do this, you will
need the system’s serial number.

The altanator will charge the battary but it dies over night. jump it off the battary recharges but goes dead again in a few hours.

HI, what your are experiencing is a Battery drain issue.

There are one or more devices that are not shutting down during the downtime of the vehicle. this will cause the battery to drain overnight. You will need to isolate this drain and fix it asap if possible.

Here is the procedure I use to isolate a battery drain. Remove negative battery cable from the battery. Using a 12-volt test light, hook one end to the negative battery post the other end to the negative battery cable you just disconnected. The test light will glow or "light" if there is a drain. If the "light or glow" is faint, that is probably normal draw for the clock or computer. If the "light or glow" is bright, then there is a large drain. That should be corrected. Now start removing and replacing the fuses one by one until the light goes out; that one will be the circuit with the drain. Remember to hold in the button in the door jam for the interior lights. Now about the "miss" in the engine. We would suggest doing a cylinder leak down test, also check for a "flat" cam. If the problem still exists, scan the PCM (computer) for trouble codes.

WRONG! Leave the radio on for 1 hour using the key and accessories to reset then enter the pin. You get the pin from nissan customer service in your area but you need to supply your vin/chassis number.

To enter the pin you press buttons 1-4 corresponding to the number of the pin eg. pin is 1023, press button 1 once, 2 ten times, 3 two times, 4 three times
