There's 2 o2 sensors on ur car seems to me that they are located on the left and right side of the intake manifold. The rightside is bank 1 sensor 1 bank 1 sensor 2 should be on the left side of the intake manifold..

The O2 sensor does not work correctly when cold so there is a built in heating element which heats it up until the car is at normal operating temperature. The heating element could be bad or you ECM (computer) could have a bad driver circuit for the heating element. If you have never replaced the O2 sensor I would suspect it is bad. It is easily replaced with a 22mm slotted socket especially made for removal. Disconenct the 4 wire connector from the old sensor. Spray the old sensor with a penetrant (WD-40) and let it soak into the base where it screws into the exhaust system. Remove the old sensor and clean the threads on the exhaust system. Apply anti-seize compound on the threads of the new sensor and install it. Reconnect the 4 wire connector. The CEL should go out after driving it for a few days or less.

It's the rear O2 sensor,the one behind the catalytic converter.

Clear the code with OBDII scanner or remove negative cable for 2 minutes.

Wait until the exhaust cool for 1 hours

Disconnect the connector and clean the contacts with CRC electrical contact cleaner the contacts.

reconnect negative battery cable

Start the car and let the motor warm up.

If the code keeps coming back then you will need to purchase a O2 sensor socket + O2 to change it out.

is it a 4 cylender, or 6. if its a 4 cylender the bank 1 sensor 2 is the sensor closest to the cadalatic converter, on the exhaust. if its a 6 cylender you will need to contact honda, and see which bank is one, and which bank is 2... The banks refer to the side of the engine they are talking about. a v6 will have 2 banks, drivers bank and passengers bank, sensor 1 is always the sensor on the exhaust closest to the engine, sometimes even on the manifold, and sensor 2 is the one slosest to the cadalatic converter.. hope this helps, o2 sensor explaining can be a little difficult

SOURCE: ON A 03 6 CLY ACCORD, WHICH SENSOR IS BANK 1

Bank 1 refers to which side the O2 sensor is on and Bank 2 refers to the actual sensor. Bank one is always on which ever side cyclinder #1 is on. In your case it will be on the back side towards the fire wall, and will be the O2 sensor that is past the catalylic converter (otherwise none as a downstream O2 sensor).

code p 0135 refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1 bank 1 heater control--circuit malfunction===causes --fuse--wiring-- HO2S-- ECM
bank 1 is closest to the firewall and HO2S sensor is in the exhaust manifold bank 1 before the cat converter
it is not an O2 sensor as they are totally different to the heated sensor
most problems can be traced to the wiring or the HO2S unit as the wires are fine and subject to failure
when getting the new unit , also invest in the correct tube socket to use with sensors as they are designed to protect the wiring during installation and removal

This ensor is located after catalityc, just take off and replace it;

P1155 Air/Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit. (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

Actually P1155 is pointing to a fault with the internal heater for the A/F Sensor (aka Oxygen Sensor) for Bank 2 Sensor 1. The PCM uses this internal heater to get the sensor to normal operating temps within a matter of seconds on cold starts. Replacing this sensor should solve your problem. This sensor is located in the front exhaust manifold.

2005 Neon engine light came on and stays on. Car drives okay. Has around 34,000 miles. No other problems


Take it to Autozone or Advanced auto and get an engine diagnostic and ask them to printout the results. Most times it's a sensor.
