The secret fuse box is under the hood on the driver side fender wall.Be careful there are spies everywhere trying to find this piece of high tech fuse concealment. :-)

I'm surprised there isn't a cover that has the diagram on it but for the fan its gotta be a relay under the hood i'd say

I cant find the transmission fluid dipstick in a 1990 mercury topaz


Right frontof the car, kinda buried in between the engine. You'll need a long funnel to replace any transmission fluids!

Power windows don't work on 1990 mercury topaz


First check all fuses.
Check the switch on the door by making sure there is power to the switch and test the switch controls by back probing the wires and activating the switch. sometimes its trial and error.
If that is all good, then the window motor is at fault and needs replacing and the door panel has to come apart to replace motor.

If you think its a motor try pounding the lower end of the door while trying to roll window up with the switch. this may give the motor a second life but it may be short.

I took off my plug wires on my distributor cap on my 1990 mercury topaz and i dont know the firing order to reconnect them

The distributor rotates clockwise.

ford tempo is the same car inside and out the differance is the name, all body parts will be the same in that year possibly from 1990 -1993
