Question about 2002 Dodge Neon
My 2002 neon won't start because the key hadn't been used for quite some time. started it 5 times and now its locked out and won't start, any way to reset and start over other than having it towed to dealer to have it reset?
IF YOU LEAVE THE IGNITION KEY ON FOR ABOUT AN HOUR,IT SHOULD COME OUT SECURITY LOCKOUT..YOU ALSO CAN TRY REMOVING FUSE IN UNDERHOOD FUSE BLOCK LABELLED "IOD" FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS AND PUTTING BACK IN..BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE PROBLEM WITH IMMOBILIZER OR POWERTRAIN CONTROLLER..YOU MAY NEED TO PUT VEHICLE ON A BATTERY CHARGER IF INTEND TO TRY LEAVING KEY ON..LET ME KNOW WHAT HAPPENS
