Testimonial: "Poor radio reception. Local dealer IA did more damage and made things worse. No my fob (remote) doesn't work as well, and they broke the ribbon from the diversity module to the rear glass. I think this is for the fob."

How much is a starter on bmw 325 ci 2006

The Bosch starter costs about $175, or $275 from the BMW dealer. This is generally not an easy job on the 3 series engine. You should estimate at least $400 in labor, maybe higher at the dealership.

What steps do you need to go through to replace the battery on a 2006 325xi?

Before pulling out the old battery, you should write down the code of your radio so that when you install the new battery the radio will be asking for the operation code.
Replacing battery for that model should be less than 5 minutes to install new one, otherwise everything will be reset.
Hope that helps you out!

2000 bmw x5 nav screen blank. radio works but no

I know this is an old thread, but my 2006 325i Nav screen went bank also, but the radio still played. I noticed the glove box light and trunk light did not turn on also. I was told from mechanics is was probably a CID module for $2200, even though I mentioned the glove box and trunk light light were out and specifically inquired about a fuse. The mechanics never checked the fuses, because I checked my fuses in the glove box and found the fuse 61 marked with a BMW symbol that looks like light bulb was blown. The Nav screen started back up once the fuse was changed.

Radio has no sound or intermittent e39 5 series '00.

You might want to suspect a stereo amplifier. Does your car have DSP? In any case, look in the trunk on the left hand side. You will find your radio amplifier back there. It will have about a 3in connector with a bunch of twisted pair wiring. Remove the connector and make sure there is no water contamination. All sound processing takes place in the amp.
