Removing padded dash pad on a 1969 Chevy pickup

difficult but up under the dash there will be a series of tin nuts that hold the pad on the dash. IT will be easier if the dash can be removed

How do i fix a short in my dashboard light?

First of all, try to isolate the short. Is it dash light, gauges, radio? first
check all the fuses in the fuse box and in the electrical box near the battery. If the fuses are good then remove the padded part of the dash CAREFULLY! the clips become brittle and weak.(best to do when the dash is hot) pry the dash with a small pry bar or large flat head screwdriver, moving it evenly until the padding is off. This will allow you good viability to the wiring harness. check for burnt and melted wires. before continuing , make sure the battery is disconnected! repair the damaged wire(s) and repeat the reinstallation. take your time, this is frustrating. HAPPY HUNTING!!

Remove the dash pad. Remove the speaker screws and disconnect the speakers. You do not have to remove the entire dash, I can scan a pic in from the service mnual if you would like.

My 2005 chrysler 300c has a light blinking on the dash board for the air bag. It is on the right bottom corner of the dash itself and when I am driving the light starts flashing. What could this be? Maybe...

The most likely reason is you are low on brake fluid, although you may need to replace the brake pads or shoes, or there could be a problem with the anti-skid diverter system. First check and refill the brak fluid if it is low.

99 chy break light on dash flashes on when stopping

either your brake fluid is low or your brake pads or worn down, low fluid is also sign that pads are worn, sometimes the wire to the sensor on the back of te wheel has been rubbing on the wheel earthing the cable and setting on the light

I am trying to remove the rear brake caliper on chrysler voyager but struggling. How do I do this

Not sure of the brake, after removing all bolts and or retaining clips you can slowly pry the old pads apart using tire iron or large screw driver. this will compress the brake cylinder and allow for easy replacement of new pads. With this method you should not have to bleed the brakes after replacing pads.
