SOURCE: 2000 subaru outback trunck won't unlock/open

Is it a lift back or window and tail gate? Either way, there is a little hole on the inside for the escape hatch. Take a small pin, wire, coat hanger, push it straight in, it should pop the window, door, whichever, might be a small button over the hole, that way you can get the door lock fixed without smashing the lock off. I never tried mine , but I know all cars have them now. Check it out.

Cant find clutch master cylinder Subaru outback impreza sport 1997.

On most cars the clutch master cylinder is generally mounted to the firewall next to the brake master cylinder, HOWEVER quite a number of manual transmissions have cable operated clutches, and if I remember correctly Subaru was one of them.

Can a 2001 Subaru Outback take an aftermarket stock clutch or do you have to go with a Subaru clutch only? fighting clutch chatter two clutches in two months after orignal clutch lasted 130k miles?

Get a new clutch kit AND flywheel. Don't turn a flywheel more than once, just like with brake rotors. Any car can use an aftermarket clutch replacement (as long as they fit, of course). If you get a lightened flywheel, you'll enjoy better acceleration and mileage (city driving) as well.

Clutch slipping on 20005 subaru outback

Do you have any free play in your clutch pedal? The pedal should move at least 1" before you feel resistance. If you have free play then you probably have a clutch going bad. If there is no free play then you need a clutch adjustment.

I have a subaru outback sport 1994 It has a very quick chirp and lose of power and back to normal all in about a half a second thought it could be the clutch but it has no problems starting out or getting...

I think the clutch you might be concerned with is the a/c compressor clutch and overall the the compressor. These have a variable displacement compressor and if the compressor clutch engages while this compressor is under full variable load it will cause a noticeable engine strain, loss of power and momentary belt squeel. I hope this is something worth checking for your symptoms

Clutch problems in 2000 Subaru Outback

I am thinking its the clutch throw out bearing. In which case you might as well replace the clutch as you are going to have to pull the clutch out.
Sorry for the bad news if this is right.
Plus side is you'll have a new clutch!
