I bought my 1999 oldsmobile cutlass new and now im having problems with my motor fans coming on,my ac don't work anymore but for the fans to come on I have to turn my ac switch on,if I switch to heat

If the fans work, (I'm guessing there are two of them) only when the A/C is on, then it means that the temperature sensor is damage. If possible, have a professional take a look at it. Both fans are OK,

Ac heat wont bturn on

1: engine hot. 180F or more?
2: fan blows on high?
3: got heat at any vent?
AC dont make heat, only the heater coil core, does that.
it only takes 2 things.
engine coolant hot.
and air flow across said core,
both are easy to check, ask.

Heat coming out even when ac is on ac is fully charged and also feel heat when i have everthing off

there is a vacuum actuated valve in line from the engine to the heater core, right on the firewall. a lot of times it is removed for less restriction. if you replace it and the vacuum lines are in tact it will cut the flow to the heater

Car overheats when ac is shut off

The AC blocks the air flow to the radiator, causing it to heat up.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No heat in car replaced temp control, heater core works is there a flap between the ac/heat ? if so is it located under dashboard?

Did you buy this used? If so the heater core may be bypassed. There should be a flap that changes how the air flows. If it hasn't been bypassed you should be getting heat even if it is still in the ac mode.

1999 Ford Taurus, no heat. Air comes thru all vents but blows cold air like the ac is on. Replaced thermostat twice, flushed heater core three times (just did it), still ice cold air. Both pipes going into...

ford you say

check that there is flow coming out your heater hoses
step 1 remove 1c heater hose
step 2 have a friend start car remember it is easy to install a heater flush valve and it makes the job easier
if there is flow then eithor you have a blockage or an air lock
if there is no flow there might be a valve in the heater lines to stop the flow of coolant to the car when ac is on i have seen theise in a few cars but they are rare if there is a valve than make sure it isnt frozen with rust and ir does work in a ford i would assume that it is a vacume valve

good luck and happy hunting
