SOURCE: 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager instrument cluster problem

There has been issues with the solder joints on the PIN connection to the gauge cluster. The issue being that over time thru vibration and such one of these solder joints will fail (happened on or 1999) you can repair this though. You will have to remove all of the trim from around the driver's side dash board, this will include the trim towards the center of the dash. Once these pieces are remove you'll need to remove the gauge panel (I believe (4) allen head screws) carefully bring the panel and release the wire clip from it. Looking at the back of the panel, where the plug was, carefully with plenty of light look for one of the pins to have a failed solder joint. It will be very faint however the failed joint will be a fine dark line around the pin. To correct use a small soldering iron and reheat this solder until it wants to flow, let it cool and reassemble.
As I fore mentioned I had the exact same issue as you are describing, our is a 99. The most tricky part is the dash, take your time with it.
I hope this may have assited you,
Tom

SOURCE: replace blower motor 1998 plymouth voyager

it is located behind and below the glove box,you might want to remove the glove box assembly to see it easier,
there are four screws holding a blower motor cover you to take off first, now remove the screws holding the blower motor up,disconnect the motor wires.
if your changing this because you think its bad,you should test the blower motor wires with a test light with the key on and blower switch turned on.if you have power in the wires, then it is bad.
but if you have no power in wires it could be blower motor resister,or switch.

My 1998 plymouth grand voyager may have a bad starter...when I turn the key nothing happens, no sound...battery seems to be O.K., interior lights go on... when I wiggle some of the wires around it starts...

The starter is near the bottom of the engine toward the transmission. You can follow the large red wire from the battery and it will lead you to the starter. The first thing I would check is the battery terminals & connectors making sure they are clean and free of any corrosion. Many times that is the problem as it only takes a small amount of power for lights but a large amount of power to operate the starter.

Check the operation of all door ajar monitor switches.
