Possibly low on freon thers a switch that will not let it engage if pressure is to low!!! hope this helps you!!!also check for 12v at compressor!!good luck!!!

They make an AC idler replacement pulley, but you have to remove the Compressor and put on the pulley, but it works.

replace the vacuum mode control switch in the AC control head in the dash, the air doors are operated by vacuum motors, the mode switch switches vacuum between the diff doors for dash vents, defrost and max positions

i dont know what a lp is ,,,but the low side service port is on the largee ac line ,it is the smaller of two that u service the ac,follow the large line/hose untill u come to the small service port this is the one

Ford doesn't use an AC filter, what is the AC doing? sounds like not cooling right? if so u have a leak and it is low on charge.

On my 2003 Explorer the drivers washer nozzel is partially plugged. How do I remove it or clean it??


Use compressed air with a blow gun and gently blow air back through the nozzle.It may take a couple tries. Remember to gently apply air.
