SOURCE: renault espace

The bumper is held on by just two 13mm bolts, the problem is getting to them. First remove the air filter and you will then see a black junction box on the right hand side, remove this and the bracket underneath to get to the bumper bolt. The driver side bolt is behind the small black junction box under a larger black junction box. Remove the small one 2/3 small bolts) to access the other bumper bolt. Its easy to do just takes a bit of time.

Horn on renault clio

1st check you have power at the horn unit (normaly behind bumper) if power there it must be the horn itself. If no power you need to check the horn relay & contact behind the steering wheel cover. When yu press the horn do yu hear the relay click?

How do i get to the water bottle on my espace as i think it has cracked

With great difficulty to be honest ,try changing the starter motor just for fun
now the water bottle is behind the front bumper so take out the inner plastic wheel arch ,try doing anything to a renault modus even giving a jump start will make the power steering motor lose its memory and then its a 600euro job to get it sorted and renault garage will insist on a new one then programming adding up to well over a 1000euros .My favourite make of vehicle a renault ? i think not come back the ford cortina or a humber hawk

Renault Kangoo, horn not working, have checked wiring and tested it, also fuse ok. Please advise if the horn feeds through the ECU unit?

Horns are pretty simple units and don't need to feed through the ECU.
When you say you have checked the wiring and tested it, do you mean the wiring at the horns? or the wiring at the horn button on the steering wheel pad or where ever your horn button is located?
Sometimes the horn button breaks usually due to wear, If that is the case you will need to remove the horn pad or button and check/repair or replace. If this is working then most likely your horns are dead, not usual as they are fairly robust but not unheard of.

I have a 2005 renault espace 2.2dci - It fails to accelerate from stationery and has a 3-4 second delay before increasing its speeed this proves dangerous at junctions as it disllows me to accelerate ?...

Hi,
The problem in the acceleration might be the electronic governor and the clutch have to be replace. ur nearest service center would check on it thoroughly, its a bit expensive and a experience Renault technician is needed! The front wheel alignment should be checked again, as u said somebody have tinkered on ur steering! Tell them to check the front wheel alignment(toe-in/toe-out) and the cambering. Ask them to show the result of computer wheel alignment. Wheel balancing is for the tyres only, not the steering!
Hope that Fixya up!

I have a problem centralising the steering wheel on a renault espace 2004. The steering wheel is an 180 degrees out. Can you please give me some advice?

it's is better you show a vehicle to well expertise or experienced mechanic 1st of all the vehicle is having some suspension problem due to which the steering wheel is out, 2nd of all do check for wheel alignment at a particular interval, one thing you can do is that make sure that the vehicle alignment is proper & vehicle is not tilting or pulling in any position then if everything is ok do one thing remove the steering wheel & fix it at at after see the position of the wheel is at center... or isnted of making your self to a troubled situtation better take it to nearest Authorized Renault service station.
for more FAQ or help on any topic related to automobile field feel free to tell your problem & we will be happy to help you
till then have a safe drive & happy motoring

Indicators not self cancelling & Horn not working

I had the same problem. Horn not working and indicators not self cancelling.
After removing the steering wheel I found that the central two pronged collet, that engages with the steering wheel and drives the horn contact slipring and indicator cancellation, had worn down its prongs. this had caused the horn wires to stop rotating and they had been snapped by the motion of the steering wheel.
the ideal solution would be to replace the collet and horn wires but I managed to repair both
