Question about 1998 Toyota Avalon
How do I check for the reason that the check engine light came on for my 1998 Toyota Avalon? My Dodge has a way to check "flash codes".
Should have an OBDII connection under the dash on the drivers side. Looks like an elongated computer port, probably has a cover on it that says OBDII. You can buy a code reader from an auto store like pepboys for around $100 i think. Just a side note, usually if the car is still driving ok and not acting weird, it is an emissions sensor.
