The hot/cold tap on my 1996 Honda CRV does not work. How can I fix it? Does anyone have a wiring diagram that might help?
The tap? Do you mean the knob that turns hot to cold? If you are talking about this i had this problem on my 96 accord. You can pull the knob directly off. Do not twist it because it has interlocking teeth. See if the plastic teeth have been broken. That was my problem. Got a new knob for 7 bucks from body shop but you could just twist it with a wrench if you want(with the knob offf, of course)

I would go to your local Honda dealership and tell them the engine light came on. They will hook it up to a special computer and they will be able to tell you why the engine light came on and what's wrong with the car. Not sure what the cost will be to get it checked out. If you don't have the money for that right now.
SOURCE: 2002 honda crv air filter change
Hi!
Can you specify if you are referring to the engine intake air filter or the cabin air filter?
If you are referencing the cabin air filter, the attached youtube video should help.
I originally created the video for the Odyssey, but found out after looking at my dad's CRV that it is essentially the same procedure as the Odyssey, and have also noticed that the same stands true for most Honda vehicles built between 2005 and 2009.
Happy motoring!

The best place to connect the wiring is behind the left trim in the boot, there is a grey socket which has all that you need except the fog which can be located in the wiring loom to the left light unit.
