This is caused by a thermostate problem. the other option is if your willing would be to re-wire the fans to keep the engine cooler at all times while the engine is running. I do this here in California where the temp changes in the valley. so with contant air flow it keeps the car cooler

When you turn on ac system the front of the compressor should start turning if it does not turn check fuses to ac system if ok its probaly to low on charge to turn the system on.

    when checking the fuses dont just look at them test wiyh a test light to see if the is live. also check ac relays for power and ground.

If you call the dealer with your VIN, sometimes they will give you the code over the phone. Some others will need you to bring in the vehicle to make sure you're not dealing with a stolen radio. They sometimes pull the radio out to get the serial number off the radio and can look up the radio code in their system.

THose are not fun. pretty sure you have to remove the grill and loosen the Radiator to sneak them out.

What does the warning lamp displayed as a double


Brake ware warning light.
Brake pads have sensors , when pads worn out to the point when it needs to be replaced , sensor gets cut by brake disc and light goes on.
