SOURCE: Clutch Dodge SX2.0 2004

Just to be sure recheck the fluid level of the mastercylinder again. If it is a little low refill with proper fluid, and work the clutch several times with parking brake set. Also check the clutch pedal bushings at the top of clutch pedal to make sure there is no sticking or excessive wear. If you find anything unusal about the bushings, they need to be replaced. Hope this will help you.

sounds like problem in the transmission shift top if it won't shift gears. If throwout bearing is not engaging pressure plate, it sounds like the pivot for the clutch acctuator is broken

Recommend replace fuel rail pressure sensor, make sure connector and wiring are good, clear codes and recheck.

My 2003 Ford Focus Zetec engine, I think either the clutch is going out or maybe just needs fluid. It doesn't want to really go anymore, slow to get up to speed. How and where would I check the fluid on...

If you were low on clutch fluid the clutch would not disengage, it would not cause the car to be slow, but it would be difficult or impossible for you to change gears. If you feel the clutch slipping while driving, either the clutch disk and/or pressure plate are worn, or possibly have oil in then from a leaking engine or transmission seal.

Sounds like you are having a clutch problem. The sudden looseness in the clutch pedal indicates a problem with either the hydralic system, (slave or master or line) leaking or clutch pressure plate going out. Check your clutch fluid resevoir first, if low look for a leak under the vehicle, have a friend push the clutch and get underneath to find leak.
