Question about 2000 Dodge Durango
There has to be a dozen ways
You use your VIN # & call or stop at a dealer
You call or stop at a trans shop
You use Wikipedia
You count the bolts & look at the pan pattern
and more,not that hard to use the internet
You know the vehicle
You know the motor
Your pretty much are there if you know how
many gears it has & it's 4x2

To find out which you have, you have to look at the body plate which the manual says to access you have to take the passenger seat out, take up the sill cover, and pull up the rug!! Can't think of an easier way. My transmission blew on my 99 Dodge Durango. I had it rebuilt and it was never the same. Needless to say I had to get rid of my Durango.

In the left corner of your windshield their is a number take that number to a auto parts store and ask them what trans you have or take the number to a dealership an ask them or any transmission shop

PO753 code on a Durango can also be caused by a bad transmision relay in the relay -fuse block behind the battery in the engine compartment. (relay # 31 on 1999 Durango) Before you attempt to replace the 3-4 solenoid, or take to a transmission shop, try changing the relay out with another known good relay, reset the code and try it. I learned this today from an honest transmission shop. Shifts normally again, check engine light is out, and the shop did not charge me a dime. Kudos to Trans Medic in Gresham OR.

these vehicles do not have flashers, it is the turn signal switch in the steering column it is called a multi-function switch!
That's where your problem is!!

The dodge Durango does not have a cabin air filter (pollen/dust filter) The only Dodge to have an dealer option to include one is the Dodge Caravan
