cd? the problem is internal to radio not really any fix other than replacing it. I purchase a lot of radios off ebay. but it will need to be reprogrammed and unlocked by dealer if you do this. or can have aftermarket radio installed
Make friends with a Hummer tech, you're only other option. Unlock codes vary with serial number ranges so you'd never know without access to the database. Would be easier (and cheaper) of it was an aftermarket unit.

install on computer.
enter radio serial number and it tells you the code. providing its never been changed, happens rarely. cost about £5
I recall having seen this problem posted by another and I think you are stuck going to the dealer (with proof that you didn't rip it out of someone else's dashboard) to get it unlocked.
This is one of those things done to ding accessory thieves that often bites original owners after battery changes/failures.
