Could be fuel delivery; fuel filter clogged, worn fuel pump.
Does it still have battery power when it dies, cranks but no start? How long does it take to start again? When does this occur, engine hot/cold? Does it happen all the time or sometimes? How long does it run until it cuts?

Has the electrician checked the igniton modual they have been known to go down , but have you seen the rotor arm turn when the engine is turning over or just turned it by hand because it will be tining belt failier if you can turn it by hand.
