You mean to say the distributor rotor doesnt turn? if thats the case you either have a broken camshaft, broken timing belt or broken distributor drive, better pull out the distributor and see if the cam turns when you crank the motor...

SOURCE: 1994 honda accord will start runs awhile then cuts out .

Could be fuel delivery; fuel filter clogged, worn fuel pump.
Does it still have battery power when it dies, cranks but no start? How long does it take to start again? When does this occur, engine hot/cold? Does it happen all the time or sometimes? How long does it run until it cuts?

My 1994 Honda Accord broke down, the distributor is not turning as it should. What are good ways to test what the problem will be?

You don't say what engine but if the dist doesn't turn when cranking it maybe the cam belt has snapped. Give more detail.

1994 Honda accord ex is getting gas and spark spins and flutters but won't grab and start A relay behind the dash sound like on the passenger side was clicking and the dashboard was acting a LILwacky

The "wacky" dashboard could be a failing electrical section ignition switch. This could be causing the no start condition. Having spark doesn't mean it is in time, check cam timing and distributor timing, is it installed correctly and is the distributor rotor good? A common failure is a bad rotor.

1994 honda accord no start and no spark

First, I would check your wires to and from the distributor. If they are all good and connected, I would move on to the spark plugs. Make sure they are gapped correctly. (.035" or 1.1mm)

If those are all good, you may need to replace your ignition coil (The big box thing the shortest wire from your distributor goes to) It may be pricey, but that may be your problem! 02093765-3fc5-4004-b880-06bfd5ca1480.jpg

Ive got a 1994 honda accord and i cant get any fire out of the coil. its getting power to it. i put a new coil on it but still no fire

You may have a bad connection on the out side of the coil. Make sure it is connected with the right polarity, The positive terminal should be connected to the ingnition with a negative earthed battery.
Take the spark lead out of the distributor and hold it close to the engine block, crank the engine and see if you have spark then, You may be losing it at the distributor.

Check to see if you have spark to your spark plugs. On hondas if you have no spark it wont let the fuel pump get power. This is controlled by a small part in the distributor called the ignitor by honda and ignition module in aftermarket terms. when this part goes bad you wont have spark or fuel. it is a pretty expensive part. sometimes its cheaper to get a used distributor at the junk yard and change the whole thing. also make sure your timing belt hasnt snapped cause if it did your distributor wont turn and you will get the same results. take the distributor cap off and check and see if the rotor spins while someone is cranking the engine. if it doesnt turn your timing belt is broke or your camshaft broke in half. broken camshafts are a common problem with 95 accords. If none of this helps you may have a wiring problem or even your cars computer may have taken a dump

My 1994 Honda Accord won't start. Lights work, though. Any ideas?

It could be related. You may have moisture in the distributor cap. Check to see if ytou have sufficiant spark and fuel. If no spark then start with removing the distributor cap and checking for moisture.

1995 Honda Accord will not start

First you must check to see what missing. You must have spark at the pugs and gas at the injector for this car to start. See whats missing and get back to me. The 1995 Honda Accord has a history of bad distributor. If there is no spark at the spark plugs replace distributor. However on some models the coil is separate and not in the distributor, if so make sure the coil is working.
